Bourbon Bacon
This bacon is so good it turns vegetarians into meat eaters. This is a perfect addition to any gathering. It can be served all by its self or added to any of your favorite burgers or sandwiches. The possibilities are endless.

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine brown sugar and bourbon in a small bowl and mix well.
  3. Place a wire rack over a foil lined baking sheet.
  4. Brush both sides of bacon with bourbon glaze and space evenly on wire rack.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  6. Turn bacon over and continue cooking until slightly crispy and the edges are dark, 10-15 minutes more.
  7. Remove bacon from over and allow to cool slightly. Remove bacon from rack while it’s still warm to avoid it sticking.
Recipe Notes

Be careful as bacon can burn rather quickly so always keep an eye on it.

If you prefer your bacon less crispy do not flip bacon and remove from oven when desired.
