Asiago Cheese Dip
This is another family standard around Christmas time. This dish can be made ahead of time and then baked when needed making it an easy addition to any gathering. It's best served hot, but holds up well over time. Serve with an assortment of crackers, crostini, or chips.

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the mayo, sour cream, 1/3 cup Asiago, green onions, and sun-dried tomatoes. Mix well.
  3. Place into an oven safe 1 quart casserole dish.
  4. Top with 1 tablespoon Asiago cheese.
  5. Bake until top is golden brown and bubbly, about 30 minutes.
Recipe Notes

Grated Parmesan can be substituted if needed.

Fresh sweet corn might be one of my favorite Midwest ingredients. Here we make a tradition Mexican street food, Elote. We served this for the first time at Dotzy's during the first ever Kiddos Who Care Market. It was such a hit, we put it on our seasonal menu.

Street Corn - Elote
  1. Preheat charcoal or gas grill for direct medium-high heat.
  2. While grill is heating prepare the wet and dry rubs.
  3. Once grill is ready, grill corn until it is slightly charred on all sides, 7-10 minutes.
  4. Remove corn from grill and brush a generous layer of wet rub on all sides of corn.
  5. Sprinkle dry rub on corn and serve with chopped cilantro and lime wedges.
Elote Wet Rub
  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well. This can me made ahead of time and refrigerated.

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. This can me made ahead of time and refrigerated.

I like to tie the husks back using butcher's twine to make a handle.
