  1. In a large bowl, combine romaine lettuce and mixed greens.
  2. Toss with balsamic vinaigrette until all the greens are coated.
  3. Divide salad greens evenly into serving bowls and top with remaining ingredients.

These are a wonderful treat enjoyed plain or as I used them, in place of croutons on a salad. This is a very basic recipe I made for a specific dish. The possibilities for these are truly endless.   1. Heat saute over medium-high heat.
  2. Once pan is hot, add olive oil.
  3. Carefully add garbanzo beans.
  4. Saute garbanzo beans for 15-20 minutes stirring frequently.
  5. Using a slotted spoon, remove garbanzo beans to a paper towel lined bowl.
  6. Remove paper towel and toss with paprika and salt.
