My culinary journey has been anything but conventional, just as my methods and creations do not always follow conventional norms. I am an explorer by nature, I seek new places, experiences, and people in everything I do. Most chefs will tell you they are constantly learning, constantly striving to be better tomorrow then they were today, and I am no exception. One of the most defining moments in my career started out as a rather mundane event. The chef I was working for and I were up late doing some menu planning when I had this brilliant, or possibly horrendous, idea. Instead of dismissing me, his answer was “well let’s try it and see what happens.” The lesson didn’t take hold right away, but it is now the driving force behind my creative process.

As for what my future holds and where my culinary journey will lead…Let’s see what happens!
